THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF POLYGRAPH TESTS

SINGLE ISSUE TEST - One question is asked multiple times throughout several charts. The accuracy level of this test, based on various studies, is around 90 percent.

MULTI ISSUE TEST - Three questions are asked multiple times throughout several charts. The accuracy level of this test, based on various studies, is around 80 percent.

These two types of tests are universal, therefore the accuracy level of tests are universal and not based on any individual examiner. Please beware of examiners that profess to have higher accuracy ratings.

HOW ACCURATE IS A POLYGRAPH TEST?

Research studies on polygraph examination determines that its accuracy falls between 86-92%. Most examinations readily reveal to the polygraph examiner whether or not the person is truthful.

WHAT IF I AM TELLING THE TRUTH, BUT I AM NERVOUS ABOUT TAKING THE EXAMINATION?

It is normal for an innocent person to be nervous, the polygraph examiner is aware of this. Nervousness does not prevent them from distinguishing between the truth and deception.

HOW QUICKLY CAN A I GET A POLYGRAPH TEST?

A test can generally be scheduled within one week, however Integrity PRO does not provide same day service.

HOW LONG DOES A POLYGRAPH TAKE?

Examinations are approximately 2.5 hours. The examination involves various stages including consent forms, explanation of the instrument and how polygraph works, a discussion of the reason for the test, an acquaintance test and the actual test. The test cannot be expedited by eliminating portions of the process.

WHERE DOES INTEGRITY PRO CONDUCTS TESTS?

Tests take place in Lindsay, Ontario, seven days a week and Markham, Ontario, one day per month.

HOW MANY QUESTIONS DO I GET TO ASK?

Polygraph allows 3 questions. Many clients have a list of questions that they wish answered. Often, the 3 questions can be worded in such a fashion that it includes all of your inquiries.

HOW MUCH DOES A INFIDELITY / RELATIONSHIP POLYGRAPH TEST COST?

Integrity PRO fees are within the industry standard costing $600+HST for tests. In order to book an appointment, a non-refundable $300 deposit is required. This fee is deducted from the professional service charge.

HOW MUCH DOES A FORENSIC / CORPORATE POLYGRAPH TEST COST?

Forensic and corporate polygraph tests are case specific, therefore please inquire for test pricing.

ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS TO WHO CAN TAKE A TEST?

Persons under 14 or women who are pregnant cannot be tested.
